In observing my surroundings, I noticed signs of human intervention within the landscape. Historically, humans have attempted to control, create and, even, conquer their environment. These photographs explore the physical evidence of our interaction within the natural world. We plant, trim, arrange, cut, design and build our piece of the earth. Even, the simple act of pulling weeds demonstrates our desire to control our space. These photographs reveal our interference with the land. Although with the absence of our involvement, the natural world will eventually reclaim our alterations, as if, we never existed.
